EUROLINK-House of Europe Foundation, under the aegis of the CEFTAC Platform, in partnership with the Romanian Competiton Council and the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, initiated since the year 2005, the deployment of the European Competition & Competitivness Day in Romania.
The current edition was organised under the High Patronage of the Presidency of the European Union, with the kind support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, at the ArCuB Centre of Bucharest City Hall, under the title: "Globalisation, Crisis or Business Recovering through Innovation? New Opportunities in the Danube Region - Black Sea Basin".

The event is a Practical Solutions and Know-How Transfer Fair, focused on the Innovation through Business Competitiveness on IC&T grounds, which is also a key-objective of the Regional Center of Excellence for Innovation in the Black Sea Basin - Danube Region, representative in Romania of the Flagship "FuturICT - Knowledge Accelerator", initiated by DG Enterprise, European Commission.
