EUROLINK - House of Europe
The foundation operates as an independent and non-partisan educational / information agency, aimed to deepen and to promote the European Idea and the aspirations of a United Europe, through a specific Romanian and Central-European contribution to this unique process. The House of Europe provides to Bucharest an independent public arena for debates concerning the major issues of the European unification, and of the Euro-Atlantic enlargement.
Our organization was established in March 1997, thanks to an initiative of some leading Romanian specialists, intellectuals, businessmen, journalists and students. Since then, we cooperate within various European and international networks and corporate partnerships, aimed to emphasize our commitment to contribute to a larger and deeper role of the civil society in the newly emerging Europe. Objectives
- to provide all levels of information/educational programmes, professional training and highly qualified consultance in all fields of European Integration;
- to open public debates, as well as to launch information, promotion, advocacy and lobby campaigns dedicated to the acceleration of the EU integration process;
- to support social and humanitarian aid actions in order to alleviate the effects of the economic transition on disadvantaged groups.
Target-groups
The projects of EUROLINK - House of Europe Foundation are designed for a general public, but certain events or training sessions are focused on specific target-groups such as: experts and consultants in European projects, civil servants, managers and businessmen or graduate students and young professionals.
Main activities

- consultancy in European projects;
- public debates, advocacy and lobby campaigns.
